Annie's school carnival was this weekend. Her school "team" is the "wranglers". So, they had a western themed carnival.
The first booth we went to was face-painting. Annie walked right in and sat down. I asked John he refused. Matthew marched right in and sat down next. When the lady asked him what he wanted, he blankly stared at her because he didn't even know what he was doing there! She did a little baseball. He got up, walked back to me and said, "AGAIN!". The lady laughed when he marched back over to her. This time he requested a cat (?!?). She tried her best to do a cat on his other cheek! When he demanded to go back again, we explained he was out of room!
Annie's principal had to drag her on the stage for line dancing. Of course, once she got up there, she wouldn't come off of it. I thought we would never see any more of the carnival.
There was a minor glitch, and a belt had to be changed on the "train". Annie and friend, Alexus, and the boys wait patiently.
They all enjoyed the ponies. In typical fashion, John asked if I could stay next to him while he was on it. Matthew took off and didn't look back.
Matthew then insisted he needed to see the sheep. John, of course, wanted nothing to do with them.
Annie's multi-colored hair.
While waiting on the kids to come out of the petting zoo, John asked to lasso. He is such a funny kid sometimes.
