Spring Break!

We spent the first part of Spring Break at home. It was nice to catch up on overdue playdates with old friends. By the end of the week, we were ready for an escape from the house! We went to Brenham to visit with my grandparent and Aunt Kathy and Uncle Bill. We only got to stay for about 3 hours, but the kids had a BLAST. We will be back there to play for sure. We then went on to "Aunt Zoo's" and because the kids fell asleep for the couple hour drive there, we were in for a late night. To top it off, Uncle Rich had gone shopping just for them and built a tower of cookies, sweets, candy and soda! We had thought we would not have a lot of time there, but after our late night we spent most of the morning there. The kids got in the hot tub in the morning. This is a new favorite of theirs after getting in at the Keller Pointe last week. They call it the hot bath. They then went on a nature walk, had a tea party, painted pictures of flowers, and played with toys. That's not bad for just a morning there! From there we went to Sea World. We fed the dolphins and saw the dolphin show and "Shampoo". We went from there to see my other grandmother and spend the night with her. We even hit the outlets in San Marcos on the way home. We packed a lot in three days, and the kids really rolled with the punches. They enjoyed seeing so much family. Peter commented that we are so blessed to have so many people that were genuinely excited to see them. It was a great time!
